Una tipologia di prodotto apparsa sul mercato in maniera molto veloce, quasi schizofrenica. Per questi “schermi anti covid-19” ho voluto un linguaggio estremamente razionale, senza fronzoli, un qualcosa che rispettasse i luoghi in cui Essential venisse inserito. Semplice, ma non banale, nella sua realizzazione è stato pensato l’utilizzo di barre in plexi, telo in pvc e dei resistenti giunti in alluminio. Un prodotto di massa, scalabile e modulare, realizzato con i materiali reperibili in un momento difficile.
A typology of products that appeared in the market in an exceedingly rapid way, nearly schizophrenic. For these “anti covid-19 shields” I wanted to use an extremely rational language, without frills. Something that would respect the environments in which Essential is integrated. Simple, yet not banal. For its implementation it has been thought about using plexi bars, a pvc shield and sturdy aluminium joints. A mass product, scalable and modular, made with accessible materials even during a difficult time.
Une typologie de produit apparu sur le marché d’une manière extrêmement rapide, abrupte. Pour ces «boucliers anti- covid-19», j’ai voulu utiliser un langage rationnel, sans fioritures. Un object discret qui va s’insérer dans la vie de tous les jours sans être invasif. Simple, mais pas banal. Pour sa mise en œuvre, il a été pensé d’utiliser des barres en plexi, un blindage en pvc et des joints en aluminium robustes. Un produit de masse, évolutif et modulable, réalisé avec des matériaux accessibles même en période difficile.
